Interested in volunteering with the theater? Not sure where you’d fit into a group of thespians? Acting’s not your thing? Don’t worry, if you can swing a paint brush, turn a screwdriver, change a light bulb, or baste a seam or, are just interested in knowing what really does go on back stage, there’s a volunteer place for you at Milam Community Theater.

And here’s something we’re proud of:

628 documented hours of work and expertise have been given to MCT by volunteers since mid-July 2014. This includes Williams Event Center administration and management, set building for The Rainmaker and Virgil’s Wedding plus several other theater and building related projects.

These are hours that we actually have records of.  I, for one, am bad about not keeping my hours and it all went into the bin during Virgil’s Wedding performances when everyone was focused on the show and forgot to sign in.

Nevertheless, give yourselves a pat on the back volunteers, you deserve it!
